On Sunday 2nd December the Bisley Group met to create lovely Winter planters and hanging baskets.
the weather was a little kinder than the previous month so we didn't have to endure snow only a cold wind and a little drizzle.
Or Growing Hope Project met again at Bisley and planted bulbs in pots to take home as well as tidying the bed ready for Winter.
It was a good session and the children were eager little gardeners they were!!
On Saturday 27th we held our bird box making session for our Gloucester families, unfortunately due to a number of events numbers were smaller than expected however we got five lovely bird boxes made that will make homes for new nests in the Spring.
October has been busy for Ronan's Trust with flower arranging sessions in Gloucester and Tetbury. It is lovely to see what beautiful arrangements Beth comes up with for everyone to create.
Our Gloucester Bereavement Support garden craft group is growing and created some beautiful arrangements to take home.
Our Growing Hope sessions continue at our Bisley Allotment and we have a couple of new faces too.
A small group met at Westonbirt Woodworks for our Rustic Crafts morning. The session was run by Jane Gray Wallis an Independent Coppice Worker based at Westonbirt Arboretum. www.rustic-chair.co.uk.
On Tuesday 14th a group of 11 bereaved adults and children met at the Cotswold Forest School in South Cerney to learn some bush craft skills and enjoy the peace and companionship that the forest and group provided.
We had a great session. We planted two reused van tyres with a selection of herbs. We then did some weeding and harvested some of their vegetables. Which the children loved doing.
The floral groups continue to thrive under Beth's guidance. The Tetbury group enjoying flower arranging outdoors in the shade of the trees. Our Gloucester group enjoying the cool space at Community House.
